Cloud Nine C989 Ergonomic Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Cloud Nine C989 ergonomic split keyboard

The Cloud Nine C989 is a full-sized mechanical keyboard with a split layout that separates up to eight inches. Built-in tenting and angled palm rests keep wrists in a neutral position during long typing or gaming sessions. Kailh Linear Red switches deliver smooth, low-force actuation for rapid input. RGB backlighting is configurable via the included application.

Replaces flat staggered keyboards

Users moving from a conventional one-piece board gain adjustable split spacing and integrated tenting that align forearms naturally. The jump is worth it when wrist fatigue, RSI symptoms or carpal-tunnel discomfort appear after extended use. The dedicated number pad remains, so spreadsheet workflows stay unchanged. No extra desk depth is required beyond the split range.

Handles eight-plus-hour coding or gaming marathons

Low-force linear switches and the seven-degree palm angle sustain comfort through full workdays and late-night raids. The split design runs out when desk width cannot accommodate the maximum separation or when a compact form factor is mandatory for travel. RGB illumination covers every key for low-light visibility.
