The Club3D CAC-1187 converts a MiniDisplayPort 1.4 output to an HDMI 2.1 input so that older laptops or desktops can drive modern 4K120 Hz or 8K60 Hz displays. It targets users who need high refresh-rate gaming or high-resolution productivity without replacing the source device.

DSC 1.2a compression and HDR10+ pass-through

The adapter uses Display Stream Compression 1.2a to fit 8K60 Hz or 4K120 Hz bandwidth inside the DP 1.4 link while preserving 10- or 12-bit colour and HDR10+ metadata. It also forwards up to 32 channels of 192 kHz LPCM audio and HBR streams up to 1536 kHz for full surround sound.

Active male-to-male cable with 1.8 m reach
