Core Ultra 9 285K 24-Core Power

This CLX SET gaming desktop is built around the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with 24 cores and 24 threads reaching 5.70GHz turbo frequency. The system targets enthusiasts who need high multi-thread throughput for gaming, streaming and content creation in a single mid-tower chassis. It ships with Windows 11 Home pre-installed for immediate use. Buyers who want more storage bays than the supplied drives occupy should look elsewhere.

360mm Liquid Cooling 850W Supply

A 360mm CLX QUENCH AIO liquid cooler manages CPU thermals while quiet RGB fans handle chassis airflow. The 850W power supply delivers stable current to the GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7 graphics card and all other components under load. This cooling and power combination supports sustained performance during extended gaming or rendering sessions without requiring external upgrades.

64GB DDR5 Dual-Channel NVMe HDD

Memory arrives as two 32GB DDR5 5600MHz modules occupying two of four slots, leaving room to expand toward the 256GB maximum. Storage pairs a 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD for OS and active projects with a 4TB HDD for bulk libraries. The bundled CLX Obelisk white chassis includes configurable RGB lighting controllable via included software for aesthetic matching.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360mm CLX QUENCH AIO liquid cooler, and which step do people usually get wrong?

The CPU arrives with the 360mm CLX QUENCH AIO already mounted; you only need to connect the pump and fan headers to the motherboard. The common mistake is leaving the protective film on the cold-plate or forgetting to plug in the pump header, which stops coolant flow.

What maintenance or replacement will the 360mm CLX QUENCH AIO liquid cooler and 850W power supply need later?

The sealed AIO loop requires no refill; plan to clean radiator fins and replace fans if they become noisy after several years. The 850W unit has no user-serviceable parts; replace the whole PSU if voltages drift or fan bearings fail.

What thermal limit appears first on the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K during sustained 5.70GHz loads with the 360mm AIO?

The 24-core CPU will hit its maximum junction temperature and begin throttling before the 360mm AIO saturates, so sustained 5.70GHz all-core boost is limited by the processor thermal ceiling rather than coolant capacity.
