CLX SET Mid-Tower Gaming Desktop

The CLX SET TGMSETRTU5205WM is a new mid-tower gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-core processor with a 5.0GHz max turbo. It ships with 64GB of DDR5 memory in two 32GB modules, a GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 12GB GDDR7, a 2TB NVMe SSD and a 6TB hard drive. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Storage and Memory Limits

The board provides four DDR5 slots with a 256GB maximum capacity, so the current 64GB kit leaves room for expansion. The 2TB NVMe drive handles the operating system and active titles, while the 6TB hard drive stores larger media libraries. The 850W power supply supports the installed components; any future upgrades must stay within that budget.

Liquid-Cooled CPU Installation Notes

The CPU arrives factory-mounted with a liquid cooler, so no socket work is required during initial setup. Memory slots are accessible for later upgrades, though tall heat-spreaders can interfere with the radiator tubing. The mid-tower chassis uses standard mounting points, but cable routing space behind the motherboard tray is limited.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 64GB DDR5 kit or plan for 256GB later?

The board has four slots and supports up to 256GB, so the installed 2 x 32GB kit leaves two free slots for future expansion.

What does the 5.0GHz turbo on the Ryzen 7 7800X3D deliver in games?

The 8-core processor can boost to 5.0GHz for high single-thread speed, which benefits frame rates in CPU-limited titles.

Is the RTX 5070 limited by the 12GB GDDR7 frame buffer at 4K?

The 12GB GDDR7 memory on the RTX 5070 provides high bandwidth for 1440p and entry 4K gaming workloads.
