Expansion for Blood Rage

The Mystics of Midgard expansion adds a new game mode to the Blood Rage base game. It introduces ten warrior-shaman figures, two for each clan, that act as special units with strength two and zero Rage invasion cost. Players must acquire a mystic Clan upgrade to recruit them.

Strategic depth under sustained play

Each mystic figure gains the abilities of every collected Clan upgrade, so their utility grows as the session progresses. The zero Rage invasion ability lets players maintain pressure across multiple rounds without draining resources. Clans are capped at two mystics, forcing deliberate choices about which upgrades to pursue.

Upgrade path and fit

This expansion requires the Blood Rage base game and supports two to four players aged 14 and up with a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes. It suits groups who already own the core game and want asymmetric clan powers. It does not serve buyers seeking a standalone experience or games for more than four participants.
