Night's Watch Heroes I Box Set

This box set expands the A Song of Ice and Fire tabletop miniatures game with a collection of legendary Night's Watch heroes. It is designed for adult players aged 14 and above who want to command iconic defenders of the Wall. The set supports two or more players for competitive strategic battles.

Check game ownership and language needs

You must own the core A Song of Ice and Fire tabletop miniatures game to use these heroes, as this is an expansion box set. Verify that your gaming group can read English, German, French, or Spanish, since the components are multilingual. Ensure you have space and time for sessions lasting 45 to 60 minutes.

Upgrades the core game with unique commanders

This set replaces generic Night's Watch units with named heroes such as Qhorin Halfhand, Alliser Thorne, Donal Noye, Othell Yarwyck, Grenn, and Pypar. Each figure brings unique abilities that change army composition and tactics. The jump is worth it when you want character-driven leadership and specialised skills for the Wall's defenders.

Questions about this item

What miniatures and cards are included in the SIF1309 box, and do I need the core game to play?

The box contains Night's Watch hero miniatures such as Qhorin Halfhand, Alliser Thorne, Donal Noye, Othell Yarwyck, Grenn and Pypar, plus their unit cards and attachment cards. This is an expansion; the A Song of Ice and Fire core starter set is required to play.

The product is listed as a multilingual edition — which languages are on the cards and rule inserts?

Components are printed in English, German, French and Spanish, so you can play in any of those four languages without buying separate versions.

With a 14+ age rating and 45-60 minute playtime, how complex is the rules overhead for a group new to the system?

The heroes add new abilities and tactics cards but use the core game's existing mechanics; if your group knows the base rules, the extra heroes integrate quickly without extending the session past the usual 45-60 minutes.
