CNRAQR HB-03-BK USB Handbrake

The CNRAQR HB-03-BK is a 16-bit USB handbrake designed for PC racing simulation. It connects via a 2 metre USB cable and requires no driver installation on Windows systems. The unit weighs 2.132 kilograms and features a low-carbon steel construction with an adjustable handle height.

16-Bit Non-Contact Sensor Precision

The decisive specification is the 16-bit non-contact sensor that provides linear progressive input. This resolution is higher than 14-bit alternatives, delivering finer control over braking force. The sensor operates without physical contact for consistent long-term accuracy.

For PC Sim Racers Seeking Realistic Braking

This handbrake suits sim racers who want a dedicated progressive handbrake for titles such as Dirt Rally and Live for Speed on Windows 11 or earlier. It is not for console players needing PS4, PS5 or Xbox compatibility, nor for users who require a combined shifter and handbrake unit.

Questions about this item

How does the 16-bit sensor change the feel of the handbrake in a sim rig?

The 16-bit non-contact sensor gives finer resolution than a 14-bit unit so the brake travel translates into smoother, more precise input without dead zones.

What does the USB connection actually support on a modern Windows PC?

It is a plug-and-play USB device that works on Windows 11 and earlier with no driver install required.

What hardware is included to mount the handbrake to a desk or cockpit?

A fixing clip and mounting plate with screws are supplied; the bracket clamps under the table and the handbrake bolts to the plate.
