Headlamp for hands-free tasks

The Coast FL19 headlamp provides a wide-angle flood beam for broad, even illumination across the entire work area. It operates with a single button that switches between white and red light modes. Red light preserves night vision and reduces glare for signalling. The tilting head adjusts vertically to direct light exactly where the user is looking.

Output levels and runtime limits

High mode delivers 365 lumens reaching 41 metres for three hours. Low mode produces 62 lumens reaching 16 metres and extends runtime to 18 hours. The headlamp runs on three included AAA alkaline batteries. Users needing longer duration or higher peak output will find the fixed battery capacity limiting.

ANSI/FL1 ratings and environmental protection

Performance figures are tested to ANSI/FL1 standards for consistent comparison. The IP54 rating provides water resistance against splashing from any direction. The body withstands a one-metre drop onto hard surfaces. The product does not carry a higher immersion rating such as IPX7 or IPX8.

Questions about this item

Will the FL19's hard hat clips fit the older hard hat I already use?

The FL19 includes hard hat clips designed for standard hard hat slots, allowing attachment to most common models you may already own.

How do I verify the FL19 is delivering its rated 365 lumens after I set it up?

The FL19 is tested to ANSI/FL1 standards; you can confirm performance by checking that the high white mode runs for about 3 hours and reaches a 41-meter beam distance.

Does the FL19 box contain everything needed to start using it, or must I buy batteries separately?

The box includes the FL19 headlamp, three AAA alkaline batteries, and hard hat clips, so no separate purchase is required for immediate use.
