2700 Lumen Headlamp

The Coast XPH34R delivers up to 2700 lumens from a detachable LED head unit that clips into an adjustable strap for hands-free use. Its Pure Beam Twist Focus lets the user dial between a wide Ultra View Flood beam and a long-range BULLS-EYE Spot beam without halos or hot spots. The aluminium body is IP54 rated for water resistance and rated for 1-metre drop protection, making it suitable for outdoor work, camping or emergency kits.

Dual Power Runtime Limits

A ZX955 ZITHION-X rechargeable battery is included and charges via USB-C; the headlamp also accepts three AAA alkaline cells through a supplied cartridge. Maximum runtime reaches 120 hours on the lowest setting, while the 2700 lumen Turbo mode runs for 6 hours 45 minutes before the battery needs recharging or replacing. The real-time power indicator shows remaining charge so users can plan a swap before the light drops out.

295 Metre Beam Distance

On its highest setting the Spot beam throws usable light to 295 metres (968 feet), which decides whether this model reaches far enough for search tasks, trail navigation or perimeter checks. Buyers who need a longer throw distance will have to choose a different headlamp, as this unit tops out at the stated figure.

Questions about this item

Which model should I choose between the XPH34R and the XPH30R?

The XPH34R delivers 2700 lumens and a 295-meter beam distance, while the XPH30R provides 1500 lumens and 185 meters; choose the XPH34R for maximum reach and output.

What does the 2700-lumen rating mean in actual use?

That figure is the peak output in Turbo mode, which runs for 6 hours 45 minutes; lower modes such as Medium or Low will extend the 120-hour maximum runtime.

What charging interface does the headlamp use and what limits it?

It charges the included ZX955 ZITHION-X battery via USB-C; charge speed is capped by that battery's internal circuitry, not by the cable or port.
