SKU CH-0YVH-W2BK7

A 5xD high-performance non-coolant drill bit sized at 7.10 mm (.2795 in) for deep-hole drilling without coolant

  • 5xD reach drills deeper holes in one pass
  • Non-coolant design suits machines without through-spindle supply
  • 10 mm diameter matches metric tooling specs
  • .2795 in decimal equivalent fits imperial callouts
  • California Prop 65 notice flags cancer and reproductive-hazard chemicals

High-performance drill for precision tasks

This 7.10 mm Cobra Carbide drill is built for accurate hole-making in professional workshops. The 5xD length provides extended reach while maintaining rigidity during operation. It suits machinists and fabricators who need reliable performance without through-coolant delivery.

Solid carbide construction for durability

The non-coolant design simplifies setup on machines without internal coolant systems. Solid carbide material resists wear and holds sharpness longer than high-speed steel alternatives. Decimal equivalence of .2795 inches allows quick reference when working with imperial drawings.

Limited to external cooling methods

Without internal coolant channels, heat management relies on flood coolant or air blast from the machine. This restricts maximum sustainable speeds in deep-hole applications compared to through-coolant tools. Users must monitor temperature to avoid premature wear on tough alloys.
