Compact 4 GB media player

The Coby MP823-4G is a pocket-sized portable player with 4096 MB of integrated flash storage. It targets listeners who want a dedicated device for music, video, photos and text without relying on a smartphone. The 2-inch colour TFT LCD provides a simple touchscreen interface for navigation. An integrated FM radio extends the entertainment options beyond stored files.

USB 2.0 charging and data limits

The unit connects via USB 2.0 for both battery charging and file transfers. That interface caps practical throughput well below modern standards, so loading the full 4 GB of content takes noticeably longer than on newer ports. The lithium-ion cell delivers roughly 12 hours of playback per charge. No wireless connectivity is present, so every media change requires a wired connection to a host computer.

4096 MB fixed storage decides fit

The internal memory is not expandable and there is no card slot, so the 4096 MB capacity is the absolute ceiling for all songs, videos, photos and text files combined. Buyers who want more storage must choose a different product. ID3 and LRC tag support helps organise the library within that fixed space.
