Kit contents and target use

The CR1100-K202-C503 kit supplies a cabled CR1100 reader in dark grey together with an eight-foot coiled RS232 cable and a US power supply. It is intended for point-of-sale operators who need a ready-to-deploy scanning station without sourcing separate cables or adapters.

Bundled cable and power impact

The coiled RS232 cable provides a fixed serial link to the host terminal while the included US power supply delivers the required voltage for immediate operation. Buyers whose systems use USB, keyboard-wedge or other interfaces will need a different connection kit.

Questions about this item

Will the RS232 cable need replacement after heavy daily use?

The 8 ft coiled RS232 cable is built for repeated flexing; inspect the strain relief periodically and swap the cable if the jacket shows cracking or the connector pins bend.

What limits continuous scanning throughput on this kit?

The RS232 serial interface caps sustained data rate, so long high-density barcode streams will hit the port bandwidth before the CR1100 engine does.
