Scan angles and contrast limits

The imager offers a high-density field of 30° horizontal by 20° vertical and a wide field of 50° horizontal by 33.5° vertical. Pitch and yaw tolerance reach ±60° while roll covers ±180°. A minimum print contrast ratio of 25% is required for reliable decoding. Barcodes outside these angular or contrast boundaries may not read on the first pass.

USB plug-and-play with cable options

The included USB cable enables immediate host connection without external power. Swapping to RS232 or Bluetooth Affinity interfaces requires the corresponding cable accessory, which is not in the box. JavaScript-based data formatting and optional driver-license or age-verification features need host-side configuration. Missing the correct cable is the most common setup delay.
