ColdBye MF168 Outdoor Fan 17500RPM 100 Speeds Ice Plate 180° Gunmetal Black

Compact 17500 RPM handheld cooler

The ColdBye MF168 fits in a pocket yet spins a brushless motor up to 17500 RPM, delivering 11 centilitres per second of airflow for personal cooling on the move. A built-in semiconductor ice plate adds direct contact chill, while 100 discrete speed levels and a smart LED display let you tune output and monitor battery status. The gunmetal black metal body houses a 3600 mAh cell and a 180° adjustable head for directed airflow or hands-free hanging via the integrated hook.

Thermals noise and power draw

At 5 volts the unit draws energy from its 3600 mAh battery, so heat and noise scale with the selected speed rather than a fixed high-output mode. Lower speeds run near-silent for desk or bedside use, while the turbo setting moves air at 11 m/s with a noticeable but brief rise in motor whine. The metal chassis acts as a passive heatsink for the cooling plate, keeping surface temperatures comfortable during typical outdoor sessions.

Sustained load behaviour

Under continuous turbo operation the semiconductor plate and high-RPM motor draw heavily on the 3600 mAh reserve, so run time shortens compared with moderate speeds. The 180° hinge holds position without drift, allowing steady aim during long events, and the smart display updates remaining capacity in real time so you can step down before the cell empties. Metal construction resists deformation during extended high-speed cycles.
