Job-site power cord for heavy tools

This 100 ft extension cord uses 12/3 conductors rated at 15 Amp and 125V AC to deliver 1875 Watt for circular saws, heaters and table saws. The yellow vinyl jacket resists oil, grease, moisture and abrasion on construction and industrial sites. Molded plug ends with strain relief meet NEMA 5-15 configuration for standard outlets.

Check outlet rating and circuit capacity

Verify that the supply receptacle and breaker support 15 Amp at 120 V AC before connecting high-draw equipment. The cord is designed for exterior use with SJTW insulation, so confirm the environment matches all-weather requirements. Ensure the 100 ft length reaches the work area without daisy-chaining additional cords.

Heat, noise and power in normal use

The cord operates silently with no moving parts or active cooling. Conductor heating stays within design limits when the load remains at or below 15 Amp and 1875 Watt. Voltage drop over the 100 ft run is typical for 12 gauge wire at full rating. The flexible jacket remains pliable in cold conditions.

Questions about this item

Does the cord ship with any adapters or reels, or is it just the 100 ft length with moulded plugs?

The product is sold as a single 100 ft extension cord with heavy-duty moulded NEMA 5-15 plug ends and strain relief; no reel, adapter or additional accessories are included.

Should I choose the 12/3 gauge version or a lighter gauge for a 15 Amp circular saw?

The 12/3 gauge is rated for 15 Amp at 125 V AC (1875 Watt) and is specified for heavy-duty tools such as circular saws, heaters and table saws.

Will the 1875 Watt rating hold up on a 100 ft run in cold weather?

The SJTW jacket stays flexible in low temperatures and the 12/3 conductors maintain the full 15 Amp, 125 V rating across the 100 ft length for contractor-grade loads.
