Apricot 30-Sound Portable Audio

The ColourNoise MB-HG5 is a battery-powered sound machine that plays 30 non-looping audio tracks. It offers 32 volume steps and a 40-hour runtime on its built-in lithium-polymer cell. A hanging rope allows attachment to strollers, cribs or bags for travel and home use.

Suits sleep and focus needs; not for media streaming

Parents, office workers and travellers who want consistent masking of snoring, traffic or neighbour noise will benefit from the fan, nature and lullaby options. Users who need Bluetooth pairing, music playback from a phone or app control should consider a different device.

40-hour battery life decides portability

The internal battery delivers up to 40 hours of continuous play at moderate volume before requiring a recharge via the included USB cable. This runtime determines whether the unit can last through multiple nights or a full weekend trip without mains power.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 30 sounds or is there a larger library on another version?

This model provides exactly 30 non-looping sounds — 5 white-noise variants, 8 lullabies and 15 natural sounds — and no larger library is offered for the MB-HG5.

What does the 40-hour battery claim mean for overnight use?

A full charge delivers up to 40 hours of playback, so the machine can run through several nights before needing a recharge via the 5 V DC input.

What does the 5 V 1000 mA input cap in practice?

The USB charging cable draws up to 1000 mA at 5 V, limiting recharge speed to that rate regardless of the adapter used.
