Broom Gripper for Closet Storage

The Command 17007ES broom gripper stores brooms neatly in closets, mud rooms or laundry rooms. It accepts handles between .8 and 1.0 inches in diameter and supports up to four pounds. The white and gray unit measures 3.12 by 2.43 by 3.34 inches.

Replaces Drilled Hooks and Nails

This gripper upgrades from permanent wall fixtures that leave holes, marks or sticky residue. The adhesive bonds to paint, wood, tile and similar surfaces, then removes cleanly when you need to reposition it. A refill strip lets you move the gripper again without buying a new unit.

Holds Steady Under Daily Use

The adhesive maintains its grip through repeated insertion and removal of broom handles. It resists the constant four-pound load without slipping on approved surfaces. Clean removal protects the wall finish even after extended mounting periods.

Questions about this item

How much wall space does the 3.12w x 2.43d x 3.34h gripper require for mounting?

The unit measures 3.12 inches wide, 2.43 inches deep and 3.34 inches high, so allow at least that footprint plus clearance for the broom handle to slide in and out.

What surface preparation and adhesive steps does the Command 17007ES need for a secure hold?

Clean the surface so it is free of dust and oils, remove the strip liners, press each strip firmly against the wall, then mount the gripper onto the strips and wait one hour before loading a broom.

When the adhesive strips lose grip, what replacement parts does the 17007ES use?

Use Command Refill Strips sized for the original strips; peel off the old strips, clean any residue, apply new strips and remount the gripper without drilling new holes.
