Clear Wire Hooks for Light Items

This pack supplies 40 transparent plastic hooks and 48 adhesive strips for damage-free mounting. Each hook holds up to .5 pounds, making them suited for keys, lanyards, dorm decor and lightweight school accessories. The clear finish blends with painted walls, finished wood, glass, metal, laminate, tiles and painted concrete cinder blocks.

Adhesive Limits on Smooth Surfaces

The strips bond only to clean, smooth surfaces prepared with rubbing alcohol; they will not grip textured walls, wallpaper or freshly painted areas. Indoor temperature must stay between 50 and 155 degrees Fahrenheit for reliable adhesion, and paint must cure for seven days before application. Do not hang items over beds or use for valuable objects.

Single-Hook Capacity Decides Suitability

The .5-pound limit per hook is the deciding specification; anything heavier requires a different fastening method. Hooks can be reused by purchasing replacement Command Refill Strips, while the original hardware remains in place. Buyers needing greater load capacity or mounting on rough surfaces should choose another solution.
