Two large brushed-nickel hooks

The pack contains two large metal hooks with a brushed-nickel finish and four large adhesive strips. Each hook is rated to hold up to five pounds, making them suitable for coats, hats, keys or light kitchen utensils. They mount on the wall without tools or permanent fasteners.

Adhesive strips remove cleanly

The strips bond to smooth surfaces such as painted walls, finished wood, laminate, glass, metal and painted concrete cinder blocks. Surface preparation with rubbing alcohol is required, and the ambient temperature must stay between 50 and 105 degrees Fahrenheit during application. Removal is done by pulling the strip straight down to avoid surface damage.

Five-pound limit per hook

The decisive specification is the maximum weight capacity of five pounds per hook. Heavier items such as large mirrors, heavy bags or wet winter coats exceed this limit and need a different mounting method. The hooks are also not recommended for use over beds or on wallpaper.
