Heavy-Duty Adhesive Hooks

The Command X-Large White Hooks provide damage-free hanging for items up to 10 lb. Each pack contains two extra-large hooks and six adhesive strips for secure mounting on a variety of interior surfaces.

Sustained Load Performance

The hooks are rated to hold 10 lb continuously when applied correctly. Adhesion requires a surface temperature between 50 and 105 degrees Fahrenheit and a seven-day cure time on fresh paint for maximum bond strength.

10 lb Weight Capacity

This single limit determines whether the hook suits your item; heavier loads require a different mounting method. The strips are 1.88 inches wide and designed for vinyl, carpet, metal and plastic surfaces.

Questions about this item

Will the adhesive on these extra-large hooks lose grip if the room temperature rises above 105 degrees Fahrenheit?

The manufacturer specifies an indoor temperature range of 50 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit for the adhesive to bond properly; sustained heat above that limit is not recommended.

Do I need to supply my own rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth to prepare the wall before mounting?

Yes, the instructions state to clean the surface with rubbing alcohol to remove grime and dust so the adhesive strips can bond securely.

Can I reuse the same hooks on a different wall later, and what extra parts would I need?

The hooks are reusable; you simply purchase replacement Command refill strips to remount them on a new surface.
