10 lb Extra Large Heavyweight Hooks

The Command XL Heavyweight Hook pack contains two extra-large adhesive hooks and six strips. Each hook is rated to hold up to 10 pounds on a variety of indoor surfaces. The system uses a damage-free adhesive that removes cleanly without leaving residue behind.

Renters and temporary organisers

These hooks suit anyone who needs strong holding power without drilling holes or damaging paint. They are not for buyers who require permanent mechanical fasteners. They are also unsuitable for mounting over beds, on wallpaper, or for hanging valuable or irreplaceable items.

10-pound per hook weight rating

The decisive specification is the 10-pound capacity for each individual hook. This limit determines whether the product can support your intended load, such as heavy bags, organisers, or coat racks. Exceeding this rating risks adhesive failure and potential damage to the hung object.

Questions about this item

What surface preparation is needed before mounting the 10 lb hook?

Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol to remove grime and dust, then apply the adhesive when the indoor temperature is between 50 and 105 degrees Fahrenheit.

Can I reuse the hooks if I move them to a different wall?

Yes, the hooks can be reused by purchasing replacement adhesive strips and applying them to the existing hardware.

How do I confirm the hook is holding its rated 10 lb load after setup?

After waiting the recommended cure time, hang the intended item — such as a heavy bag or step stool — and verify the hook remains firmly attached without shifting.
