COMOmed Self-Adherent Bandage 2.5cm Hot Pink

This pack contains six rolls of cohesive elastic bandage in a hot pink colour. Each roll stretches from a natural length of 2.5 m to 4.5 m. The tape is designed for first aid, sports support and veterinary use on ankles, wrists, fingers and other joints.

Limits of Self-Adherent Cohesive Wrap

The bandage adheres only to itself, not to skin, hair or clothing, so it cannot secure a dressing without overlapping layers. It offers no rigid immobilisation and is unsuitable for heavy compression therapy or wound closures that require sterile gauze and medical tape.

Hand-Tear Application and Common Issues

Each roll tears cleanly by hand without scissors and is individually wrapped for hygiene. Over-stretching during application can restrict circulation, while insufficient overlap may cause the wrap to unravel during movement.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2.5 cm or 5 cm width for a wrist wrap?

The 5 cm width is listed for wrist, elbow and ankle use, while the 2.5 cm width suits fingers or racket handles.

What does the 4.5 m stretch length mean when I wrap a joint?

Each roll stretches from its natural 2.5 m to 4.5 m, giving enough length for several overlapping turns around a wrist or ankle.

How does the self-adhesive cohesive material perform in practice?

The latex non-woven sticks to itself without clips or pins, resists sweat and water, tears by hand, and releases cleanly from skin or hair.
