Compact cloth mouse pad

The Compucessory 23617 is a small black mouse pad with a smooth cloth surface and a nonskid rubber base. It measures 9-1/2" by 8-1/2" and is 1/8" thick. The pad is sold individually and designed for standard desk use.

Suited for basic office or home setups

This pad works well for users who need a low-profile tracking surface for a ball or optical mouse in a limited space. Buyers who want a larger area for broad gestures or a padded wrist rest should look at something else.

Cloth surface with rubber base

The cloth top provides consistent tracking for both ball and optical sensors while the rubber underside grips the desk and protects the work surface. This combination decides whether the pad meets the user's friction and stability needs.

Questions about this item

How can I check the 23617 mouse pad is tracking correctly after placing it on my desk?

Move the mouse across the smooth cloth surface; the cursor should follow without skipping, and the nonskid rubber base should keep the pad from sliding on the worksurface.

What comes with the 23617 and what must I buy separately?

The package contains one black cloth mouse pad with a rubber base measuring 9-1/2" x 8-1/2"; no additional accessories are included, so a mouse is the only separate item you need.

Which version of the 23617 should I choose for a compact desk?

The 23617 is offered in a single small size with a black cloth surface and rubber base, so there are no alternative capacities or colours to select.
