Reliable vehicle remote control

The CompuStar 1WG15R-FM is a water-resistant 1-way remote with four buttons for keyless entry and remote start functions. It operates on FM frequency technology with 128-bit encryption for secure communication. The unit is designed for vehicle owners who need a replacement or additional transmitter for compatible systems. It runs on a CR2025 battery for extended use without frequent changes.

FM range and temperature limits

The remote delivers up to 3000 feet of maximum range for long-distance vehicle control. Its operating temperature spans -20ºC to 60ºC, allowing reliable performance in extreme cold or heat. The 1-way design confirms command transmission but does not return vehicle status to the handset. Buyers who need two-way feedback or longer verified range should consider other options.

Water-resistant build and compatibility

A water-resistant housing protects the electronics from rain, splashes and daily exposure to moisture. The compact four-button layout fits easily on a key ring for everyday carry. This remote works with control modules CM-900X, CM-DC3, CM-X and CM23 only. Installers or owners with different module types cannot use this transmitter.
