The CONCORD S5564S-BK is a stainless-steel brew kettle set with a 160-quart capacity, equivalent to 40 gallons. It includes a ball valve and a thermometer for process control. The pot measures 22.25 inches wide and 25.5 inches tall.

Home Brewers and Large-Batch Cooks

This set suits home brewers and cooks who need a single vessel for very large batches. It is not for kitchens with limited storage or heat sources that cannot accommodate a pot of this diameter and volume.

Sustained Boil Performance

Thick stainless walls distribute heat evenly during a long, rolling boil. The ball valve drains cleanly without clogging when the kettle is full. The thermometer remains readable throughout extended cooking sessions.

Questions about this item

What size burner or heat source do I need for a 160 quart kettle that measures 22.25 inches wide?

The kettle diameter is 22.25 inches so the burner must be at least that wide to heat the base evenly and avoid tipping.

Can I attach the included ball valve and thermometer to my existing fittings that use 1.5 inch and 5.5 inch centre measurements?

The lower port centre sits 1.5 inches from the bottom and the upper port centre 5.5 inches from the bottom; match those centres when connecting your hardware.

How do I verify the thermometer reads correctly once the kettle is assembled?

Fill the kettle with water, bring it to a rolling boil and compare the thermometer reading to the known boiling point at your elevation.
