Condor 480P09 Safety Sign

The Condor 480P09 is an aluminum safety sign measuring 14 inches wide by 10 inches high. It displays the legend "Not An Exit" in white text on a single printed side. The unit is supplied new and carries a California Proposition 65 notice regarding reproductive-harm chemicals.

Horizontal Rectangle for Door Marking

This sign suits facilities that need to mark a door or passage which is not an exit, helping occupants avoid confusion during an emergency. It is not intended for use as an illuminated exit indicator, so buyers who require a lit exit sign should look elsewhere.

Single-Sided "Not An Exit" Legend

The critical specification is the single-sided legend reading "Not An Exit" on a white background, which determines whether the sign meets the facility's marking requirement.

Questions about this item

How is the 14" wide aluminum sign mounted, and what step is often missed?

Mount the horizontal rectangle to a wall or ceiling using the pre-drilled holes; the step often missed is verifying the single-sided legend faces the correct direction before securing it.

What maintenance will the white "Not An Exit" legend need over time?

The printed text on the aluminum face requires only occasional cleaning with a damp cloth; no bulbs, batteries or electrical components are present to replace.

What limit appears first when the sign is exposed to continuous sunlight?

Prolonged UV exposure will fade the white background and printed legend before the aluminum substrate shows any degradation.
