ConnectGear HDMI High Speed Cable with Ethernet 1.0 m Black 2-pack

Purpose and audience

This two-pack of HDMI High Speed cables with Ethernet connects televisions, monitors, projectors or AV receivers to source devices such as media players, game consoles or PCs. Each 1.0 m cable carries video, audio and a data channel in a single run. The gold-plated connectors and moulded strain relief suit permanent installations behind furniture or in wall trunking.

Practical limits

The High Speed rating supports cinema-quality resolutions up to 4K and all listed HDTV formats including 480p, 720i, 720p, 1080i and 1080p, plus 3D frame-packing signals. The integrated Ethernet channel allows compatible equipment to share a network link without a separate cable. Bandwidth above the High Speed tier — such as 8K or 4K at very high refresh rates — is not supported by this cable class.

Installation and common issues

Plug the male HDMI ends directly into the HDMI ports on both devices; no drivers or configuration are required. The 24 gold-plated pins resist oxidation, but a loose port on older equipment can still cause intermittent signal loss. The 1.0 m length reaches nearby components comfortably yet leaves little slack for distant routing, so measure the run before relying on these cables alone.
