Five cables for multi-device setups

This pack contains five HDMI High Speed cables with Ethernet, each 9.84 feet long. They suit installers or households wiring several displays, PCs, DVD players or HDTVs from one purchase. The black cables carry video, audio and network data in a single run. Buyers who need only a single cable or a different length should look elsewhere.

High Speed rating with Ethernet channel

The cables meet the High Speed specification and include an HDMI Ethernet Channel so compatible devices can share a network connection without a separate wire. Gold-plated connectors rated at 24k resist corrosion and maintain conductivity. Supported video formats include 480p, 720i, 720p, 1080i, 1080p and cinema-quality resolutions up to 4K, plus 3D content.

Simple plug-in with strain relief

Each end uses a standard male HDMI connector that fits any HDMI port without tools or drivers. Integrated strain relief moulded onto the connector heads protects the internal wires from bending damage during routing. The 9.84-foot length reaches most rack-to-screen or wall-to-sofa distances; very long runs or in-wall installations may require a different cable type.

Questions about this item

What resolution can I actually expect when I run a 4K source through this 9.84 ft cable?

The cable is rated for cinema-quality resolutions up to 4K and supports all listed HDTV formats including 1080p and 1080i, so a 4K signal will pass at the source's native resolution.

Which HDMI version does the High Speed with Ethernet label correspond to, and what bandwidth does that cap me at?

High Speed with Ethernet denotes the cable category that carries 1080p, 4K and the HDMI Ethernet Channel; it meets the bandwidth required for those formats without specifying a version number.

Will the 24k gold-plated connectors fit tightly in a recessed HDMI port on a wall-mounted TV?

The connectors are standard male HDMI with integrated strain relief; the gold plating aids conductivity and the moulded shell is sized for typical HDMI sockets including recessed ones.
