The Cook With Color WGRC1 is a 3 litre rice cooker finished in Dusty Rose. It combines a low carb rice programme with hotpot, steaming and keep warm functions in one compact appliance. The transparent borosilicate glass bowl lets you watch the cooking process without lifting the lid.

Practical limits of the cooking method

The low carb cycle boils for 15 minutes then steams for 15 minutes to remove starch. The manufacturer states the cooker is not designed to cook more than 2 cups of uncooked rice because larger raw batches may overflow or cook improperly. Hotpot power adjusts in 100 watt steps from 100 watts up to the full 700 watts on a 110 volt supply.

Build and daily use

The bowl is made from borosilicate glass with 304 stainless steel and heat resistant PP parts. An auto lifting stainless steel basket separates rice from starchy water without manual draining.
