Retractable badge reel with carabiner

The COOKOOKY 2024.03.12.001 is a heavy-duty retractable badge reel built around a stainless-steel cord with 9.0 oz retraction force. A zinc-alloy carabiner and PVC badge buckle attach to belts, packs or lanyards. The 32-inch coated cable extends smoothly for swiping or scanning. A built-in wallet sleeve holds up to 5 cards or cash.

Workers who need hands-free credential access

Office staff, event crews and industrial personnel can keep ID visible while keeping both hands free for tasks. The reel also tethers small tools such as flashlights or multi-tools. Buyers who want a simple fixed lanyard without retraction should look at something else.

32-inch coated steel cable

The 32-inch extension length decides whether the reel reaches readers mounted at waist or chest height. Shorter cables will not span the distance; longer ones add bulk. Match the 32-inch figure to your badge-reader placement before buying.

Questions about this item

How far does the 32-inch coated-metal cord extend before it stops?

The cord reaches a full 32 inches and retracts with a spring rated at 9.0 oz of force.

What attachment points are on the keyholder for securing it to gear?

A zinc-alloy carabiner clip and a PVC badge buckle let you fasten it to belts, backpacks or MOLLE webbing.

How do I thread the cord through the badge buckle so it retracts smoothly?

Feed the coated-metal cord through the buckle slot, snap the buckle shut, then pull once to seat the spring — skipping that pull leaves slack.
