Capacity and Purpose
The COOKTRON 1.7L Electric Kettle Quiet holds 1.7 liters of water and operates at 1500 watts on a 120 volt supply. It is intended for heating water for hot beverages and cooking purposes in a household setting.
Installation and Common Issues
The kettle sits on a 360 degree rotatable power base and lifts off for cordless pouring. Hand wash only is specified for care. The automatic shut-off and boil dry protection activate when the cycle finishes or if the pot is empty, preventing damage from dry operation.
Suitability and Limitations
The 100 percent food grade 304 stainless steel interior with BPA free construction suits buyers who want no plastic contact with hot water. The double wall cool touch exterior and sub 30 db quiet boil suit noise sensitive environments. Buyers who need a larger capacity than 1.7 liters or a different voltage than 120 volts should look at other options.

Questions about this item
How can I confirm the kettle is operating quietly after setup?
Listen during a boil cycle; the manufacturer rates the noise level below 30 dB, so a near-silent operation indicates the quiet-boil feature is working.
What components are included and what must I supply?
The box contains the kettle body and a retractable coil power base; you only need a standard 120-volt outlet.
Which capacity suits a household that makes several rounds of tea?
The 1.7-litre capacity yields about 8 cups per fill, ideal for multiple servings without refilling.
