Compact 60% wired keyboard

The Cooler Master SK620 is a 60% wired mechanical keyboard with low-profile red switches and per-key RGB backlighting. Its brushed aluminium top plate and slim profile suit users who want a minimal desk footprint. The keyboard connects via USB Type-C to Type-A cable and works with Windows 8 or later and macOS.

Suits portable setups, not full-size users

This model fits travelers and minimalist desk users who need a compact board for laptops or mobile devices. Buyers who require a dedicated number pad, function row or integrated palm rest should look at larger layouts. The lack of wireless connectivity also rules it out for cable-free configurations.

Plug in and type, watch cable routing

Installation is a simple USB connection with no driver required for basic operation. Adjustable feet let you set the typing angle between the two listed heights. The fixed cable can limit repositioning, so plan routing before placing the board. A key puller is included for switch maintenance if needed.

Questions about this item

What type of USB port does my computer need for the USB Type-C to Type-A cable included with the SK620?

The keyboard connects via a standard USB Type-A port; the supplied cable has a Type-C plug for the keyboard and a Type-A plug for the host.

Will the low-profile red switches on the SK620 feel different from the full-height switches on my older mechanical keyboard?

Yes, the low-profile switches have a reduced travel distance and actuation point while keeping the same linear red feel.

How can I confirm the per-key RGB backlighting is functioning correctly after I plug in the SK620?

Each key should light individually; use the onboard lighting shortcuts or the MasterPlus software to cycle through effects and verify every key responds.
