The Cooper Lighting LPX7 is a plastic LED exit sign designed for indoor safety applications. It provides illuminated egress marking with a built-in nickel-cadmium battery backup that maintains operation during a power outage. Single or double-face mounting

The housing supports either one or two faces and includes universal field-selectable chevrons for directional indication. It operates on 120 or 277 volt supply wiring without additional transformers. No lamp heads are integrated, so the fixture serves purely as an exit marker rather than an area light.

Low heat and silent operation

LED technology keeps thermal output minimal and eliminates fan noise entirely. The nickel-cadmium battery charges continuously from the mains supply and requires no routine maintenance beyond periodic testing. Power draw remains low in both normal and emergency modes.
