This Cooper Wiring receptacle is a commercial-grade 20 amp 125 volt ground-fault circuit interrupter designed for indoor branch circuits that require personnel protection. It fits standard single-gang boxes and provides a single 2-pole 3-wire grounding outlet in an ivory finish. The device meets UL 498 requirements and is built for new construction or retrofit projects where tamper-resistant protection is specified.

Arc-Resistant Face and Wiring

An arc-resistant thermostat face helps contain internal arcing during fault conditions while the triple-wire line contacts maintain long-term plug retention. Side wire terminals accept up to #10 solid or stranded wire and the terminal screws ship backed out to speed installation. The UL Listed tamper-resistant shutter system blocks access to the contacts unless both plug blades are inserted simultaneously.
