Corn Electronics 8×5V 3Pin ARGB + 2×12V 4Pin RGB + 8×4Pin PWM Fan Hub

SKU CH-QRSF-06GTF

A magnetic acrylic hub that consolidates 12 lighting and PWM fan channels into one motherboard header

  • Product colorBlack
  • Three-in-one hub controls ARGB, RGB and PWM fans
  • Single motherboard 4-pin header drives all eight fan channels
  • Acrylic shell protects circuitry and mounts with magnetic back
  • Solid-capacitor filtering keeps every output stable and consistent
  • FAN1 header must stay populated for PWM speed control to work

Three-in-One Fan & Lighting Hub

This hub consolidates eight 5V 3-pin ARGB channels, two 12V 4-pin RGB channels and eight 4-pin PWM fan headers into a single unit. It is built for PC builders who want to manage multiple addressable and standard RGB fans through one motherboard connection. The acrylic shell includes magnetic backing for easy mounting inside a case. A solid capacitor filter helps keep power delivery stable across all outputs.

Single Motherboard Sync Limitation

Only one RGB sync cable — either the 5V or the 12V line — can be connected to the motherboard at a time; both cannot be used together. When the 5V sync is active, fans on 12V headers lose lighting control while retaining speed control. When the 12V sync is active, fans on 5V headers revert to monochrome-only lighting. Without any sync cable connected, the hub still provides PWM speed control via the motherboard's 4-pin fan header.

Red FAN1 Port Must Stay Occupied

The red FAN1 header on the hub must always have a fan connected; leaving it empty disables speed adjustment for the entire hub. This is the single requirement that determines whether the hub will function correctly in a build. If a system cannot dedicate one fan to that specific port, the hub cannot regulate fan speeds as intended.

Questions about this item

Should I use the 5V 3-pin ARGB or 12V 4-pin RGB headers for my fans?

Connect the hub to either the motherboard 5V ARGB header or the 12V RGB header, not both. Fans on matching-voltage headers sync fully; fans on the other voltage header show limited or no lighting while speed control still works.

What does the single motherboard 4-pin PWM connection actually control?

One 4-pin PWM fan header on the motherboard drives speed control for all eight fan channels on the hub simultaneously.

How does the 5V ARGB versus 12V RGB sync cable choice limit lighting?

With the 5V sync cable, 5V ARGB fans sync fully while 12V RGB fans stay dark. With the 12V sync cable, 12V RGB fans sync fully while 5V ARGB fans show only single-colour dimming.
