Dual-Mode Audio Adapter
The Corn Electronics 8670 is a 2-in-1 Bluetooth transmitter and receiver built around a CSR8670 chipset. It switches between TX mode for sending TV or player audio to wireless headphones and RX mode for streaming phone or tablet music to a wired stereo system. The unit is new and supports aptX and aptX Low Latency in both directions for CD-quality sound with minimal lip-sync delay.
Connection Flexibility & Limits
It suits users who want one device to add Bluetooth to an older hi-fi and to make a non-Bluetooth TV wireless for late-night viewing. Optical TOSLINK, 3.5 mm aux and RCA via the supplied adapter give three wired hook-up options. Buyers who need simultaneous use of optical and analogue inputs should look elsewhere because the adapter does not function as an audio converter and cannot run those connections at the same time.
aptX Low Latency in Both Modes
The decisive specification is aptX Low Latency support in both transmitter and receiver modes, which keeps audio-video sync tight enough for film and gaming when paired with compatible headphones or speakers. Without aptX LL on the receiving end the low-latency benefit is lost, so check your headphones or speakers before purchasing.

Questions about this item
How long does the CSR8670 chipset run before audio drops out?
The adapter uses the CSR8670 chipset for both TX and RX modes with aptX Low Latency, but no continuous-use limit is published by the manufacturer.
Does the unit get hot or noisy when streaming all day?
The device has no fan and draws little power; it stays cool and silent during extended TX or RX sessions.
Which cables or ports must my TV or stereo already have?
You need either a 3.5 mm aux jack, a TOSLINK optical port, or RCA inputs — the box includes a 3.5 mm-to-RCA adapter for the latter.
