80 mm 12 V server case fan

This Corn Electronics fan fits the standard 80 by 80 by 25 mm square mounting pattern used in many server and workstation chassis. It runs on 12 V DC power through a three-pin connector and draws 1.7 W. The black, non-LED frame keeps the appearance neutral for professional environments.

Sustained airflow in fixed-speed operation

Because the motor is driven directly from the 12 V line without PWM control, rotational speed and airflow remain constant as long as power is applied. This behaviour suits installations where a predictable, unvarying cooling curve is preferred over variable-speed profiles. The 3-pin interface reports tachometer feedback so the host can monitor rotation, but it does not accept a speed-control signal from the motherboard.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power does the 1.7 W motor produce when the EE80251S1-D170-F99 runs continuously?

The fan is rated at 1.7 watts on a 12 volt supply, so heat output stays very low even during all-day operation.

What connector must my motherboard or fan controller provide for the 3-pin plug on this 80 mm fan?

A standard three-pin 12 V fan header is required; the EE80251S1-D170-F99 plugs directly into that socket.
