What this combo is

The Corn Electronics G21 is a wired USB keyboard and mouse set built for gaming and office use. The full-size keyboard has 104 keys with a mechanical-feeling membrane switch and rainbow backlighting. The optical mouse offers 2000 DPI sensitivity, three buttons and a scroll wheel, shaped for both left- and right-handed users.

Who it suits and who it does not

This set fits buyers wanting a single USB connection for both input devices and RGB-style lighting without mechanical-switch cost. It is not for users who need true mechanical switches, per-key lighting control, programmable macro keys, adjustable mouse weight or a palm rest on the keyboard.

The spec that decides fit

The keyboard uses non-mechanical switches with a mechanical-feeling action, so the typing experience is membrane-based rather than clicky or tactile. If that distinction matters for your work or play, verify it matches your preference before buying.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the rainbow backlight is functioning after plugging the keyboard in?

Connect the USB cable to your computer; the keyboard should light up immediately with the rainbow LED effect across all 104 keys.

What comes in the box and do I need to purchase any cables or software separately?

The package includes the wired keyboard with a 1.5 m USB cable and the optical mouse with its own USB cable; no extra cables or software are required.

Should I choose the version advertised at 1600 DPI or the one rated at 2000 DPI for the mouse?

The supplied mouse operates at 2000 DPI with three buttons and a scroll wheel; there is no separate 1600 DPI version to select.
