Right-handed ergonomics

The Corn Electronics G901 is a wired gaming mouse built for right-handed palm and claw grips. Its optical sensor reaches 6400 DPI across six fixed steps from 800 to 6400. Seven programmable buttons and a single scroll wheel cover the essentials for MOBA, FPS or daily office work. The 1.5 m USB cable keeps the connection stable without battery concerns.

Macro support and RGB steps

Macro programming is supported so repetitive command chains can be bound to any of the seven buttons. Default DPI levels are tied to distinct colours: 800 green, 1600 pink, 2400 blue, 3200 red, 4800 blue and 6400 yellow, giving instant visual feedback when switching sensitivity. RGB lighting runs along the body and works on both Windows and macOS without extra software.

PC shell and fixed cable

The shell uses PC plastic and measures 127 mm by 71 mm by 40 mm at roughly 145 g, a size that fills the hand without feeling bulky. The non-detachable 1.5 m cable routes from the front and draws under 100 mA at 5 V, so any standard USB port supplies enough power. Left-handed users or buyers wanting wireless freedom should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How often will the 1.5 m USB cable need replacing under daily use?

The fixed 1.5 m USB cable is built into the mouse; if the sheath frays or the connector bends, the whole unit must be replaced because the cable is not user-detachable.

At the maximum 6400 DPI setting, what limits tracking accuracy during long sessions?

The optical sensor tops out at 6400 DPI; beyond that the pointer cannot move faster, so sustained high-speed swipes will hit the sensor’s resolution ceiling first.

Does the RGB lighting raise the mouse’s temperature or power draw above the 5 V, 100 mA rating during all-day use?

The mouse draws less than 100 mA at 5 V even with RGB active, so heat and power stay within the rated limits during continuous operation.
