USB 7.1 Gaming Headset

The Corn Electronics K9 is a wired USB headset built for PC and Mac gaming. It delivers virtual 7.1 surround sound through 50 mm dynamic drivers. The headset is not compatible with PlayStation or Xbox consoles. A flexible omnidirectional microphone handles in-game chat.

Thermals noise and power

Passive ear-cup padding and an adjustable PU leather headband keep the headset comfortable during long sessions without active cooling. The USB connection draws power directly from the host device so no external supply is needed. Operation is silent because there are no moving parts or fans.

50 mm driver specification

The 50 mm driver diameter is the key figure that determines bass weight and overall soundstage width. Buyers who want a smaller on-ear form factor or a detachable cable should look elsewhere. This model fixes the driver size and the 2.2 m cable length.

Questions about this item

How do I install the USB 7.1 headset on my PC and what step is often missed?

Plug the USB connector into a free port on your PC or Mac; the 7.1 virtual surround sound activates automatically, but many users forget to select the headset as the default playback and recording device in system sound settings.

Which part of the K9 headset will need replacement first after extended use?

The super soft padded earmuffs and adaptive PU leather headband wear over time; the 50 mm dynamic drivers and omnidirectional microphone have no user-serviceable parts, so ear cushions are the first maintenance item.

What limits the headset during long gaming sessions?

The 2.2 m cable fixes your range, and the 32 ohm impedance with 100 dB sensitivity means volume is capped by the USB port power; the 7.1 virtual processing adds no extra limit beyond the 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response.
