Desk-sized RGB surface

The Corn Electronics MP-001 is a cloth mouse pad measuring 360 by 260 millimetres with a three-millimetre profile. Built-in lighting offers 14 selectable modes to match a gaming setup or office aesthetic. A six-foot detachable cable keeps the connection tidy and simplifies storage when the pad is not in use.

Cool running, silent operation

No active cooling or power-hungry components are present, so the pad adds zero fan noise and negligible power draw to the system. The soft cloth top and rubber base remain at ambient temperature during extended sessions. Only the LED strip consumes electricity, drawing a minimal amount over the long cable.

Soft cloth, anti-slip base

The textile surface provides consistent glide for optical and laser sensors without fraying at the edges. A full-size rubber underside grips the desk firmly, preventing unwanted shifts during fast swipes. The detachable cable routes cleanly away from the play area, reducing snag risk on cluttered desks.

Questions about this item

How do I install the MP-001 RGB mouse pad and what step do people often get wrong?

Connect the detachable 6 ft cable to the pad and a USB port, then lay the pad flat so the non-slip rubber base grips the desk; the common mistake is leaving the cable coiled, which pulls the pad during fast swipes.

What maintenance or replacement will the MP-001 need later?

Wipe the soft cloth surface with a damp cloth to remove dust and oils; the RGB LEDs and cable are not user-serviceable, so if lighting fails the whole pad is replaced.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the MP-001?

The 14 lighting modes are cycled by a single button; extended sessions can make the button less responsive before the cloth surface shows wear.
