DDR5 Active Memory Cooler
The Corn Electronics NF-1 adds active cooling to DDR5 modules on ATX motherboards. Dual 5020 fans mount directly over the memory slots to move heat away from the DIMMs and surrounding motherboard areas. Addressable RGB lighting runs on a 5 V connection while the fans use a standard 4-pin PWM header. The unit measures 120 mm by 62 mm by 28.1 mm overall.
Upgrade from Passive Spreaders
Passive heat-spreaders rely on case airflow alone; this cooler supplies forced air when memory runs at high data rates or when a large CPU cooler blocks natural convection. The jump is worth it when your DDR5 modules run warm enough to throttle or when you want lower temperatures without increasing case fan speeds. Each fan spins between 600 and 3600 RPM and delivers up to 9.11 CFM at 1.6 mmH2O peak pressure.
Build Integration
The cooler needs one 4-pin PWM fan header and one 5 V ARGB header on the motherboard. Total draw is 0.72 W for the fans plus 1.2 W for the LEDs at 12 V and 5 V respectively. Fan noise peaks at 22.4 dB(A) and the bearing is rated for 20000 hours at 25 °C. The low 28.1 mm height fits under most water-cooling radiators on ATX boards, but builders with very tall memory modules or compact ITX layouts should verify physical clearance first.

Questions about this item
Will the 120 mm by 62 mm footprint with 28.1 mm height clear my DDR5 modules and ATX motherboard layout?
The cooler measures 120 mm long, 62 mm wide and 28.1 mm tall, and is recommended for ATX boards with water cooling, so it fits standard DDR5 slots without fouling tall heatsinks.
How do I connect the dual 5020 fans and ARGB lighting, and what step do builders often miss?
Plug the 4-pin PWM fan header into a 12 V fan port and the 5 V ARGB lead into a 5 V addressable RGB header; the common mistake is using a 12 V RGB header, which will not drive the LEDs.
When should I expect to service or replace the dual 5020 fans based on their rated life?
The fans carry a 20000-hour MTTF at 25 °C; at typical speeds of 600 to 3600 RPM that equates to several years of continuous use before a bearing refresh or fan swap is needed.
