Wireless AC1167 PCIe adapter with dual antennas

The Corn Electronics WIE7260 is a PCI Express wireless adapter that delivers dual-band AC1167 connectivity and Bluetooth 4.0. It operates on 2.4 GHz at up to 300 Mbps and 5 GHz at up to 867 Mbps. Two external 6 dBi antennas on a magnetic base allow flexible placement for stronger signal reception.

Desktops needing wireless

This adapter suits Windows 8 and 10 systems with driverless installation, while Windows 7 requires a driver download. It does not support AMD processors, so builders using those CPUs must choose a different solution. The magnetic antenna base helps users who need to position antennas away from a crowded rear I/O panel.

PCI Express interface requirement

The card installs into an available PCIe slot on the motherboard. Without a free PCIe slot the adapter cannot be used. Compatibility with Intel-based platforms is implied by the lack of AMD support, but the decisive factor is the physical PCIe slot.
