Model Red, Single

  • Quiet operation at 25.2 dBA for low-noise builds
  • High airflow of 52.19 CFM moves more air through the case

  • 1500 RPM speed delivers strong cooling performance
  • 120 mm x 25 mm size fits standard fan mounts

Purpose and audience

The Corsair Air Series AF120 LED 120mm Quiet Edition Red case fan fits standard 120mm mounting points and suits builders who want visible red illumination with modest airflow. It targets systems where low noise matters more than maximum static pressure. Buyers needing higher static pressure for dense radiators or restrictive filters should look elsewhere.

Sustained-load behaviour

At 1500 RPM the fan delivers 52.19 CFM while producing 25.2 dBA, and its 0.75 mm/H2O static pressure holds steady across typical case-restriction curves. The sleeve bearing maintains consistent speed during long sessions without the ramp-up spikes seen in cheaper alternatives. Continuous operation at the rated 0.40 A draw remains stable inside closed chassis.

Build quality and connectors

Translucent frosted blades diffuse the red LEDs evenly, and the frame measures 120mm by 25mm for direct screw mounting. A voltage step-down adapter is included for even quieter running at reduced speed. The three-pin power lead connects to standard motherboard headers; no RGB controller or proprietary software is required.

Questions about this item

How loud is the AF120 LED Quiet Edition at its 1500 RPM speed when running all day?

The fan produces 25.2 dBA at 1500 RPM, a level designed for quiet continuous operation inside a case.

Does the AF120 LED Quiet Edition need a PWM header or will a standard 3-pin or 12 V connection work?

It draws 0.40 A at 12 V and includes a voltage step-down adapter, so it runs from any 12 V fan header or Molex connector without requiring PWM.

Will the 120 mm AF120 LED Quiet Edition line up with the mounting holes on my older 120 mm case fan slots?

Yes, the frame measures 120 mm by 25 mm, matching the standard 120 mm mounting pattern used on older cases.
