240mm White Liquid CPU Cooler

The Corsair iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX WHITE is a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler designed for builders who want high thermal capacity and coordinated RGB lighting in a white-themed build. It fits a wide range of modern Intel and AMD sockets using the included mounting hardware.

Thermals, Noise and Power Draw

Two 120mm magnetic levitation fans spin up to 2400 RPM and move 75 CFM of airflow across the 277mm aluminium radiator. Acoustic output ranges from 10 to 36 dB(A) depending on load, while a zero-RPM mode stops the fans entirely at low temperatures.

Commander Core and Lighting Control

The bundled Commander Core controller manages up to six RGB fans and connects to the pump head and fans via a single USB header. iCUE software then synchronises the 33 CAPELLIX LEDs on the pump and eight LEDs per fan, enabling per-LED effects and precise fan curves without extra hubs.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 240mm radiator and what step is often missed?

Mount the two 120mm ML RGB fans to the 277mm radiator using the supplied screws, then secure the radiator to the case. The step often missed is connecting the pump head USB cable to the Commander CORE and the Commander CORE to a motherboard USB 2.0 header so iCUE can control the 33 CAPELLIX LEDs and fan curves.

What maintenance or replacement will the cooler need later?

The loop is sealed and not user-serviceable; no coolant top-up is required. The two ML RGB fans use magnetic levitation bearings rated for long life, and the pre-applied thermal compound on the copper cold plate should be replaced with fresh paste whenever the block is removed for a CPU upgrade.

What limit appears first under sustained load?

The fans reach their maximum 2400 RPM and 75 CFM airflow before the pump hits its ceiling, so fan speed and the resulting 36 dB(A) noise level become the first bottleneck during extended heavy workloads.
