Reverse-Rotor Design

The Corsair iCUE LINK LX120-R RGB is a single 120 mm PWM fan with a reversed blade layout that keeps the RGB ring visible when the unit is mounted for intake. Addressable RGB lighting uses 18 LEDs across inner and outer loops for synchronised effects inside the iCUE ecosystem. A 4-pin PWM connector provides standard speed control, and the magnetic dome bearing reduces friction for longer life. Builders who need a conventional blade orientation or a multi-fan kit should look elsewhere.

Sustained Airflow Behaviour

At the 2400 RPM ceiling the fan moves up to 66.7 CFM while generating 5.53 mm H₂O of static pressure, giving it the force to push air through radiator fins without stalling. The wide 11.5 CFM minimum lets the curve drop to near-silent levels when thermal demand falls. Because speed is PWM-controlled, the unit holds a chosen operating point steadily rather than hunting between steps during prolonged loads.

Thermals, Noise and Power

Noise spans 10 dBA at low speed to 37.7 dBA at maximum, so the acoustic profile stays unobtrusive in typical desktop use. The magnetic dome bearing keeps friction low, limiting heat build-up in the motor during continuous operation. Power draw is handled through the motherboard 4-pin header, avoiding extra cables. Users who require a bundled controller hub or a different form factor will not find those here.
