Product Identity

The Costom G705 is a USB wired gaming mouse with an optical sensor offering adjustable sensitivity up to 12000 DPI and a polling rate up to 1000 Hz. It features seven programmable buttons and RGB lighting with 12 modes across 16.8 million colours, presented in a black Kanagawa-themed design.

Suitability

This mouse suits right-handed PC gamers who want customisable button layouts, adjustable DPI steps from 200 to 12000, and vibrant RGB effects on Windows or Linux. Mac users lose programmable button functionality, and left-handed users or those needing wireless freedom should look elsewhere.

Capacity and Headroom

The optical sensor handles fast-paced gaming at up to 12000 DPI with four selectable polling rates up to 1000 Hz for responsive tracking. Seven programmable buttons cover most MMO and MOBA command sets, while the 20 million click rating and braided cable provide durability for extended sessions.

Questions about this item

What system do I need for the G705's programmable buttons to work?

The seven programmable buttons function on Windows, but the customisation software does not run on macOS, so button macros are unavailable there.

Can I use the mouse at 125 Hz polling on an older PC?

Yes, the G705 lets you drop the polling rate to 125 Hz, which reduces USB load on legacy systems.

How do I confirm the DPI has switched to 12000?

Cycle the DPI button; the RGB lighting changes colour for each of the five preset levels, and the highest colour corresponds to 12000 DPI.
