Kitchen Drying Mat 12x19 Terracotta

This absorbent drying mat measures 12 by 19 inches and uses a diatomite surface that dries in roughly 10 seconds. The scalloped checkered pattern adds a decorative accent while the rubber backing prevents sliding on wet counters. It suits home cooks who want a compact, quick-drying pad for dishes, coffee stations or pet bowls.

Before You Order

Confirm you have a flat countertop area at least 12 by 19 inches clear for placement. The mat is designed for hand washing in cold water with soap before first use and for ongoing care. Buyers who need a larger drying zone or machine-washable fabric should consider other options.

Upgrade From Cloth Towels

The diatomite layer replaces traditional cloth towels that stay damp and can harbour odours. The non-slip rubber base also improves on loose mats that shift when wet. The jump is worth it if you want faster drying, a fixed position and a surface that doubles as a placemat or decorative accent.

Questions about this item

Does the 12x19 terracotta mat arrive alone or are extra pieces included?

The mat ships as a single 12x19 piece; no additional mats or accessories are bundled with it.

How do I decide between the 12x19 and the 16x24 version for my counter?

Choose the 12x19 for smaller coffee stations or dish racks; the 16x24 covers larger counters or dining tables.

What does the 8-10 second dry claim mean when I set wet dishes on it?

Water from dishes evaporates from the diatomite surface in roughly 8-10 seconds, leaving the countertop dry.
