13 in tool storage for mobile workers
The Craftsman CMST13004 is a compact 13 in tool box built for technicians who move between home and job sites. Its red and black steel body holds hand tools in two drawers and a portable inner tray. A pad lock eye and front metal latch secure the contents during transport.
Steel body holds shape under daily loading
The 317.5 mm by 177.8 mm by 127 mm case keeps its rigidity when fully packed with hand tools. The comfort grip handle stays firm during repeated lifts. The lock eye and metal latch maintain alignment after hundreds of open and close cycles.
Ready to use with no assembly required
The unit ships fully assembled so work can start immediately. The only common issue is forgetting to engage the front latch before moving the box, which lets the lid swing open. The pad lock eye accepts standard shackles but a lock is not included.

Questions about this item
How hot or noisy does the CMST13004 get when it sits on a workbench all day?
The CMST13004 is a passive steel tool box with no motor, fan or electronics, so it produces zero noise and no heat during continuous use.
What mounting hardware or accessories must I already own to secure the CMST13004?
The box has a built-in padlock eye and front metal latch; you only need to supply your own padlock if you want to lock it.
Will the CMST13004’s 317.5 mm by 177.8 mm footprint sit stably on my older metal tool chest?
Its flat base and compact dimensions let it rest securely on most chest tops, and the comfort-grip handle makes it easy to lift off when needed.
