Cordless 12" fan with AC/DC power

The Craftsman V20 12" portable fan runs on V20 lithium-ion batteries or the included AC adapter, giving you the choice of cordless mobility or continuous mains power. A 70-watt brushless motor drives the 12-inch blades to produce up to 1400 CFM across three speed settings. The 130-degree tilt head directs airflow precisely where it is needed on a jobsite, in a garage or on a patio.

Runtime limited by battery capacity

When powered by a V20 battery the fan operates only as long as the pack holds charge, so extended use away from a socket requires spare batteries that are sold separately. The AC adapter removes that limit entirely, providing unlimited runtime whenever a mains outlet is available. Switching between the two sources is instant and requires no tools.

1400 CFM suits large open spaces

At the highest speed the fan moves 1400 cubic feet of air per minute, which comfortably cools a garage bay, workshop area or covered patio. Lower speeds reduce airflow for quieter operation in smaller rooms or during lighter tasks. The industrial powder-coated finish and sturdy carry handle make it durable enough for daily site use while remaining portable enough for home use.

Questions about this item

Which power option should I choose — the V20 battery or the included AC adapter?

The fan runs on any CRAFTSMAN V20 MAX lithium-ion battery for cordless use, or plug in the supplied AC adapter for unlimited runtime. Batteries are sold separately.

What does the 1400 CFM rating mean when the fan is running in a garage or workshop?

At the highest of three speed settings the 70 W brushless motor moves up to 1400 cubic feet of air per minute, providing strong directional cooling across a typical workspace.

How does the 130° tilt affect where I can point the airflow?

The fan head pivots through 130 degrees, letting you aim the 12-inch blade output from near-horizontal down toward the floor or up toward the ceiling.
